Roy Ritchie was born and raised in Detroit, professionally shooting for over 20 years. He specializes in automotive and editorial photography. He's self taught, which has created an artful freedom to explore beyond the boundaries of schooled photographers. He's disciplined like a Navy seaman, because he was one, giving his work an unmatched perspective and flavor. He's developed a body of work with an unlimited range — from the dark and wet world of his award winning Forest Gnomes to his clean and hyper polished automotive work. His strength is his ability to take any concept or story and put a unique stamp on it every time making it feel distinctive and original. He is based out of Detroit and Los Angeles but his work has led him to be global friendly.
